When choosing a base for a semi-permanent polish manicure with apex:

• use preparation solutions beforehand (Nail Prep and Nail Bonder). These bases have low acidity and will thus improve the product's adhesion to the natural nail.
• if working with problematic nails, you can ensure extra durability by applying a thin layer of clear base (Gum Base or Rubber Base Clear).
• model an appropriate apex; immediately after polymerization these bases have increased flexibility. To ensure optimal strength, it's necessary to create the apex correctly. If the base is only applied with a brush or with insufficient apex, there is a risk of nail breakage.
• if working on very thin nails that tend to detach over time at the corners from the technical material, at the end of the manicure remove the natural nail by drilling with a special bit for the under refill technique.
